Ignác B. Benoni began reconstructing the older building standing on this site ni 1830. After he passed away in 1831, the building work was completed by Jan Nágl, who operated an inn in it. There was a dance hall on the first floor and the first stage in Lanškroun. A statue of Saint Michael stands in the niche of the attic gable, with the bbuilding's emblem above it - a blue star.
